Welcome Families!
Amy Christensen has been teaching music privately since 2000, and always knew that her life would end up leading her on an exciting journey to share her passion for music with children.
Amy is a certified Royal Conservatory of Music teacher. She has graduated from the University of Guelph with Bachelor of Arts Degree Majoring in Music and Minoring in History. Amy is a certified Montessori teacher with experience running her own classroom. This experience has helped her establish an innovative teaching philosophy and has inspired new ideas on how to spice up the traditional method of learning music by incorporating creative hands on learning activities, games and visuals.
Twice a year Amy organizes recitals which are fundamental to musical education as a whole, focusing on aspects of performance, discipline and goal setting. Amy is committed to guiding each of her students to their fullest musical potential, while being dedicated to instill a love for music that will last a lifetime.
